Need: Assistance in publishing inspirational book "Not Dead, Delivered" by author Valdeen Shears-Neptune--survivor of Domestic Violence

Hi my name is Valdeen Shears-Neptune. I am a mother of six, a journalist and an author of two yet to be published books. The first I chose to write, the second--"Not Dead, Delivered"-- was given to me by God. I am in need of basic funding to print/publish my book and get my message out there.
I am also the assistant secretary/public relations officer with a survivors' support group "Reaching Out" in Chase Village, Chaguanas, Trinidad and Tobago.
We are bent on making a difference, changing the conversation, the focus from dwelling on the situation to empowerment and radically changing the mindset of all, the abused and the abusers.
I feel that it is my duty to enlighten and empower women on what got me through my years of abuse, what changed my mindset from being a victim to being a spiritual survivor. What continues to being my source of strength. I really do need just the start-up funding for my book and would prefer that anyone interested in assisting contact the publishers, whose numbers i can provide when needed.
Ideally I wanted to launch on the day of our group's Rally September 15th, 2012 at Harris Promenade, San Fernando, however my next goal is to be launched by or during October--Domestic Violence Awareness Month or on November 25th, 2012 International Day Against Violence Against Women.

Hello,
If you google Literary Agents in America, you will be able to find an agent who will find a publisher and you do not have to pay the agent anything. They take 15% of profits after it is published. I am in the process of getting my book published by the best way is to find the literary agent who will do all the work for nothing if they decide to take on your project.

Time frame
Unfortunately, as far as I know, it takes a long time to publish a book so realistically it may not be ready so soon.

Have you considered "digital publishing"? If your book is in digital format, it's very easy to use Amazon Publishing to either digitally publish, or turn into hard copy PER ORDER, in which case it costs you ZERO, and Amazon keeps a percentage for each hard copy and digital copy sold.
