As part of the Country Management Team, the Director of Finance will provide strategic financial management and leadership, ensuring appropriate systems; procedures and controls are in place to support the continued growth of the MSI Kenya country programme.
You will be expected to bring a modern, business-like approach to the leadership of both functions. You will lead the development and implementation of Finance strategies that will support the attainment of MSI Kenya's organisational goals and objectives.
To achieve this, MSI Kenya requires a professional qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA) with knowledge of USAID and DFID reporting requirements who demonstrates an innovative, result orientated vision, and wants the challenge of developing finance and managing organisational change.
In order to be considered for this role you will need:
- Significant experience in a similar position at senior management level, with ideally both NGO and private sector exposure
- Qualified Accountant – ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA
- Knowledge of USAID and DFID reporting
- Depth of experience in developing finance and managing organisational change
