Africa’s first major contest designed to promote the development of digital media products and innovations is now accepting applications.
African News Innovation Challenge (ANIC) will provide grants from $12,500 to $100,000 for the best projects aimed at strengthening and transforming African news media.

Recommendation to VOF
Dear sister, this is lovely. I have not read the application yet but while going through this post, i had this idea which i think might be helpful to us - VOF.
So far, I think WP can boast of over a hundred VOF correspondent with at least two to three from most countries. I suggest that VOF correspondent from africa form working group and since this is an Africa quest for innovators.
VOFcorrespondent working groups can then target this project. What do you think? lets know--and get an idea on how to tackle it--eithers as a group or individually so that we should avoid cross-posting.
