Need: Girl Child Education

Greetings from Women Initiative for Prosperity (WIP) a civil society organization based in Kamuli Uganda East Africa.
WIP's Vision "a society that recognizes the needs and rights of the women and children/youth" while its purpose of existence (Mission) "is to improve the social economic well being of women and children through economic empowerment, healthy care, human rights awareness and education support"
WIP’s Mission & Vision are guided with the Values of love, care, Human rights and new ideas.
We work with women (widows and elderly mothers) that are looking after Orphaned Vulnerable Children’s. We support vulnerable people in Kamuli in areas of Education, Sports & Games and access to HIV&AIDS services.
We are working towards a holistic approach of economic empowerment for the women (widows and grannies) and young people through vocational Education, health care, rights awareness. This project will have income generating activity aspect for every women house hold and school drop out youth. We are also looking forward to put in place Life Skills training & vocational center for young people.
WIP in partnership with other organizations we implement programs that target women and young.
Basing on the above information WIP Uganda is in need of scholarstic materials (Books, Pens and Pencil, school cloth etc.) to help at least those girl child who are already in school.
