The Al-Mubadarah Mentor: Arab Diaspora for Development is pleased to announce that we will be accepting applications for the spring cycle of its Palestine Mentorship Program in partnership with the Cherie Blaire Foundation for Women.

We are currently seeking applications from the Palestinian Diaspora (and other Arab Diaspora interested in Palestine) for a mentorship program aimed at empowering and assisting the professional development of Palestinian business women and entrepreneurs in the West Bank. As the saying says "invest in a woman and you invest into the whole society."

FUN FACT: Did you know that According to the U.S. Census Bureau, approximately 42.7% of Palestinians in the US are employed in management, business, science, and arts occupations?

Note: if you are interested in mentoring opportunities in other parts of the Arab World (including Egypt and Iraq) please apply and indicate your country preference in your application or send us an email to

About the Palestine Mentorship Program:

The program completely virtual and requires only internet/computer access. Program is conducted in English and you can be anywhere around the world to participate. The program requires a minimum of 2 hours per month with mentee for 1 year. Fellows have the flexibility to create meeting schedules and agendas to fit both their and their mentees needs. Cost for the program is a one-time fee of $500 used to cover administrative and program costs. Scholarships are available based on need (we also have a fundraising tool kit to help)!

The impact Fellows can make is endless and largely depends on the effort, commitment, and focus they make for each session with their mentee.

We are seeking Al-Mubadarah Mentors who have...

Strong commitment in supporting professional development for women in Palestine
At least four years of professional work experience building successful businesses; however professionals in other industries with experience in entrepreneurship are welcome to apply
Proactive in communicating and completing mentorship program tasks

About the Al-Mubadarah Fellowship & Mentorship Programs:

The Al-Mubadarah Fellowship and Mentorship Programs provides skilled and accomplished Arab Diaspora professionals with the tools to become mentors, advisors and colleagues to promising professionals and institutions in their field throughout the Arab World. The Fellowship is a unique opportunity for Diaspora to connect back to their countries of origin and actively take part in contributing to professional and economic development efforts on the ground (you can imagine a 'PeaceCorps' by Arabs for Arabs). The Mentorship program provides opportunities for members of the Diaspora to mentor and coach mentees in the Arab world via the internet. As part of our commitment to professional development both in the Diaspora and in MENA, Al-Mubadarah provides Fellows and Mentors with leadership and cultural workshops to ensure they have the tools necessary to effectively communicate and share their skills and expertise.
