Offer: Free and Customizable Curriculum for Girls' Development

Goal is an award-winning development programme, created in collaboration with the Population Council, which uses sport and life skills education to transform the lives of adolescent girls. Goal is based on weekly sessions that combine sport and life skills activities over a 10-month period. The programme is divided into four modules focused on key life skills: communication, health and hygiene, rights and financial literacy.

In 2011, Women Win and Standard Chartered entered a groundbreaking partnership to scale Goal in an effort to address the growing need in the field for explicit, hands-on tools to help deliver rights-based programming for girls. Last year, Goal was implemented in five countries – China, India, Jordan, Nigeria and Zambia– and reached over 20,000 girls.
Today, we are excited to announce the launch of the Goal curriculum on an open-sourced, interactive web platform. We hope to empower implementers across the globe to improve their programming, share their innovation with a larger community and gain evidence of their programmatic impact through monitoring and evaluation. Through community investment and collaboration, we hope to reach a goal of delivering quality sport programming through the award-winning Goal programme to 100,000 girls by 2013.
