Offer: Asian Development Bank Photo Contest: Capturing Images of Inclusive Growth - Deadline: April 15

How do we reduce the widening gap between rich and poor?

The NGO and Civil Society Center in partnership with Asia Society for Social Improvement and Sustainable Transformation (ASSIST) call for the submission of photographs on the theme “Achieving Inclusive Growth through Partnerships in a World of Seven Billion.”

The photo contest calls for images that capture the challenges faced in a world of seven billion people, as well as the efforts being taken by various stakeholders – governments, non-profits, private sector, and the communities – to resolve them. Inclusive economic growth is the overarching theme. Through this initiative, the NGO and Civil Society Center (NGOC) hopes to educate, alert, and more importantly, inspire people to act.

Entries can be viewed on NGOC’s Facebook page and Pinterest board.

Finalists’ entries will be displayed at a photo exhibition during the ADB Annual Meeting in Manila, 2-5 May, 2012.
