empty_pharmacy_shelves.jpgTropicalClinics is a non-profit organization in the USA and a non-government organization in Kenya, that provides high quality medical and preventive care for women, children and their families in the rural Kakamega region of Kenya.
The Kakamega region is in serious need of a treatment center. There is a glaring demand for quality health care. This demand cannot be met by the dilapidated and understaffed government hospitals. Many patients have never been to a doctor, and a majority of the female patients do not receive prenatal care. TropicalClinics medical center is addressing this crisis by setting up a state-of-art treatment center at Kakamega. It is a 24-hour medical clinic that is sufficiently staffed and equipped with state-of-art equipment. We are working to stock the pharmcy with essential medicines and nutrients to serve the people of rural Kenya. Our center will provide a high level of care around the clock and serve many of the patients from up to 100-mile radius.
