Offer: Ms. Foundation Fellowship Opportunity

The Ms. Foundation for Women is pleased to announce the launch of our new fellowship program!

We’re seeking leaders who are advancing solutions to the critical issues that women face. The Ms. Foundation Fellowship provides the opportunity for one dynamic leader to leverage our resources and support while developing promising strategies to shift the cultural conditions that enable inequality to thrive.

We are particularly interested in projects that demonstrate the potential for large-scale structural change in the areas of child care (access to affordable care and improved working conditions for care providers), reproductive health or child sexual abuse.

The Ms. Foundation fellow will receive financial compensation and health benefits, in addition to mentorship and support from Ms. Foundation staff. The fellowship is a full-time, one-year commitment, beginning Sept. 4 at the Ms. Foundation offices in Brooklyn. The fellow will be eligible to apply for a $50,000 continuation grant upon completion of the fellowship.

Applications must be submitted by April 30.

Qualifications
Applicants should be an early- to mid-career leader with a promising idea about how to shift the circumstances of a large number of women in the U.S., a deep understanding of the overall environment for their work, and a track record of achieving impact. Applicants should provide evidence of a proven commitment to the issues facing women and communities, an inspiring readiness to innovate, and evidence of background research, networks and other resources necessary to carry out their project work plan. Successful applicants will demonstrate a solid connection between the large-scale change they seek, their planned innovation, and the audiences for their activities.
