We have been holding events for women for 4 years. We would like to invite more women to our events, where you can learn a bit about community engagement, improve your leadership skills, offer seminars and workshops to our members, test where skills and talents lie, and perhaps serve on our voluntary committee.

How to find The Red Tent
Visit our website at http://redtentengland.ning.com. With Ning sites, it's necessary to sign up and be 'approved' (for security reasons). Once you're a member, go to the Main Page, left-hand column for news of events. We meet on the 1st Saturday of each month, usually in Birmingham, though we do occasionally go out on trips. Our events are creative and therapeutic - the focus is on women's wellbeing. We are a virtual organisation and this is in order to ensure sustainability, even during the worst recession. Being eco-friendly and sustainable is a major consideration for us. Our youngest member is 23 and our oldest is over 80 years old. We recognize no distinctions, whether of race, culture or creed, income bracket, sexual orientation, taste - or any other barrier that keeps women apart. We have, in the past, been the beneficiaries of funding from Awards for All and the Big Lottery Fund.
