Need: Medical camp

The Womans Hope is an Organisation that help the less fortunate by catering for their basics needs and also holding workshops to educate the girls on the dangers of engaging with illicit drugs and sex. We also have a free magazine distributed through our Supermarkets .www.womanshope.org which empowers the girls/women .
On 20 th December we had visited the Kuwinda slums and we felt so touched when we listened to the girls giving their testimonies. Though we had carried with us most of the basics need we usually give girls, many felt they need more attention on medical care. Some girls have been repeatedly raped and are already infected with HIV and AIDS. Unfortunately they hadly afford to see a doctor or buy the medicines. Some prefer to keep it to themselves since they will be laughed at. One girl disclosed to us that raping is the is the norm in the slums. Some are cheated with cheap staff and give themselves for sex in return. There is alot of drugs taking in the slums too.
Even if we have Not been organising for medical camps we thought if we dont listen to them who else will come to their resque?
Our requests is to get any volunteer who can partner with us and make this Medical camp a success. We really need Doctors, nurses, Councellors and medicines.
I trust somehow the Medical cap will be a success because of your kind contribution.

I have been visiting girls in the slums and my dear it is really sad to learn how small girls and women undergo all in the name of surviving.
