Firstly I really want to commend you on all the wonderful work you’re doing – the world is a better place because of people like you! So, a sincere thanks from downunder!
I write this to invite you all to be a part of an international not-for-profit film project that is using the arts to create global change. As the Women's Partnership Diversity Co-ordinator for the project it is my role to ensure that the story of womanhood, motherhood and sisterhood is captured in our global narrative. I would LOVE for you to capture a day in your world and help us capture the story of the women in worldwide! Can you help us?
The 11Eleven Project, a project set to connect people around the world to "Press Record" and capture a glimpse into their lives on 11/11/11. It aims to unite countries, lift borders and promote positive communication between all people through the use of film, photography and sound. Post this date we will collect all the created content and turn it into different projects including a documentary film, photographic book and world music collection. Our project is not for profit and money raised will go to charities aligned with the 8 UN millenium goals including Hamlin Fistula, Kiva, Save the Children and The Hunger Project.
I could really do with your assistance letting women in your community know about the project. Would you be able to help? It would be an honour to work with you.I know in many cases that can be challenging, so if you could assist us with sharing and telling some of the stories, it would be very special to add Women stories into the global narrative and to showcase the wonderful work you’re doing and the challenging situations Women face every day!
This is a great opportunity to have YOUR voice, cause and community heard in international media!
