Description:
IANSA is recruiting a Survivors Network Coordinator located in the global South. We need someone with significant coordination experience and a commitment to building an informed, powerful base of survivors and their allies as part of our global movement against gun violence.
This role will coordinate and lead efforts to formalise the IANSA Survivors Network, to advance and enhance engagement of survivors of gun violence in advocacy, campaigns, policy development and small arms control initiatives. This role will also strengthen and increase the membership, activities and policy impact of the IANSA Survivors Network and the wider IANSA network.
This post is offered as a home-based consultancy contract of 12 months including a 3 month probation period. The contract may be renewable provided funding is secured for the post and satisfactory progress is made. The standard working week is 37.5 hours a week. However the demands of the job are likely to be such that a willingness to work longer hours as sometimes required is necessary.
Salary range: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum
