Volunteer Position Description
World Pulse seeks a volunteer to translate materials for the PulseWire department from English to French and Swahili in order to help improve access to the website and resources by non-English speakers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Translate the PulseWire Getting Started Guide (approvimately 3,000 words) from English to French/Swahili.
Translate the PulseWire promotional postcard from English to French/Swahili.
Required Qualifications:
Fluent in French/Swahili and English.
Access to a computer and internet.
Additional Qualifications:
Prior experience translating documents and/or certification as a translator from English to French/Swahili.
Strong writing skills.

I unfortunately cannot do much with the Swahili part but I'd be glad to help with the English to French translation! I am a French student and studied in both languages, and also currently translating movie subtitles for a documentary for the European Women's Lobby.
In case you need some certificate, I scored 8 to my last IELTS test last semester.
Anyway, if I can be useful, please do not hesitate!
