The Women’s Program Coordinator provides overall leadership to the Marginalised Urban Women Program and the women’s inclusiveness stream (in particular maternal and reproductive health) in the Remote Ethnic Groups Program. This includes quality assurance, technical support and supervision of a team composed of project managers, technical specialists and partners working across a range of projects.
During the transition phase in 2011-13, the Women’s Program Coordinator will primarily provide operational support to the Project Managers responsible for management of the projects, and coordination of the projects making up the Marginalised Urban Women Program. This includes an AusAID funded legal awareness and life skills project based in Vientiane, and a proposal pending with the EU.
