Used and new laptops needed to support project that empowers girls and young women living in communities in Ghana, Kenya, Nepal and Zambia

'Train-Coach-Mentor' Girls project is an empowerment program that is dedicated to empowering excluded girls from difficult backgrounds-girls from low income families, girls living in rural communities and visually impaired girls.

The project involves an empowerment and social change initiatives training followed by pairing the girls with global mentors who encourage, motivate and support the girls through emails, letters and cards. The mentors empower the girls with their empowering words, images, stories and connecting them to projects and programs that might benefit them.

Since its implementation in 2010, 76 girls from Ghana, Nepal, Kenya and Zambia are participating in this empowerment program. There are currently 62 mentors across the globe who mentor and desire to mentor these girls.

The huge challenge is internet access for the girls to communicate with their mentors. Some mentors letters never reached their mentees due to the unreliable post office system in most communities that our girls live

We need used or new laptops to help the girls connect and communicate with their mentors. Your kind support is needed to invest in girls and young women in communities around the world
