Offer: Call for Applications: Dart Center Ochberg Fellowships for Journalists working on conflict/trauma issues

Reporting responsibly and credibly on violence and traumatic events — on street crime and family violence, natural disasters and accidents, war and genocide — is a great challenge. Each year, the Dart Center for Journalism and Trauma, based at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism, selects six to ten journalists from the Americas, Europe and Australasia/New Zealand as Dart Center Ochberg Fellows, to help them deepen their knowledge of emotional trauma and improve coverage of violence, conflict and tragedy.

Applications are now being accepted for the 2011 Dart Center Ochberg Fellowships, a unique seminar program for mid-career journalists who want to deepen their knowledge of emotional trauma and improve coverage of violence, conflict and tragedy.

Deadline: July 27, 2011
