Need: Join the cause to save Hadijjah from forced marriage

SAVE ME, I WILL SAVE OTHERS ( Hadijjah. B) Telling her story bellow her photo is attached

“My relatives and mother are forcing me into Marriage to pay my mother’s loan”
After the death of my father in 1995, all his properties, riches were taken by grandparent’s .my mother and I never received any thing and we were asked to leave their premises. My mother had no option of were to stay she had to walk into another marriage and also take me back to my grandparents because my step father did not accept me to come with my mother in that new marriage .

U.P.E (Uganda primary Education is government free in Uganda) I asked my grandmother to kindly take me to school .she said she never had money then I heard on radio when they were talking about free education that is how I asked my grandmother to at least take me to a free school which she accepted and studied up to my primary 7

At the age of 13 years my grandfather asked me to have sex with him because it is their customs and if I ever disobey their custom, I must leave that family and I should never return to that family again.

After completing my primary 7, I asked my grandparents to take me for higher education they said that was enough for me as a girl yet I have a dream of becoming a voice for other voiceless girls.

In 2006 Mama Africa international Organization organized a “girl child Empowerment workshop” at 0ur School, I attended and they told us more about our rights and saying no to cultural customs that violate our rights.

My grandfather gave me a condition that if I have sex with him, then he will educate me to higher levels which I refused.
We were 4 girls in that home but all were sexually used by my grandfather and all of them were forced into marriage .I could stay awake and hiding in corridors of the house at night if I happen to hear him coming .when I realized I could not win him and convince my grandmother and relatives around, I had to run to my mother though it was never okay with my step father but I had no option.

My mother says she has many problems in her marriage, she took a loan of 1,000,000/= $ 500 and we started selling charcoal which helped me go to school in senior 1. She started taking booze believing that this can help her get rid of such problems.

Slowly in 9 months the business went down minus servicing the loan so the loan givers finally came and asked my mother to pay if not they will put her in prison. She went and asked my grandparents for support and they rather got an Arabian Man from Mombasa very old to pay the dowry of 5 million and marry me so that they share both my mother and grandparents.

My mother came home very happy and told me that we have no money, the business is down, they want to take me to prison because of the loan, and you will not be able to go for further studies , here is a chance for you to get married .she asked me to prepare myself for the next day visit of that Arabian Man from Mombasa for marriage, I replied nothing she sent us to the market with my step sisters were one of them reminded me of calling Mama Africa organization for help .I sent her back home and directed her were I had kept the contacts which she found .I called Mummy Winnie and explained everything to her then she sent me money for transport through mobile Money I boarded that night .she saved me because the next day was the giveaway ceremony

i want to go to school.

Mama Africa
Hadijjah is 17 years old as per her story i hope you have found out a lot about her
We informed the authorities about her case .she desires so much to go for higher Education to start from senior 1 until when she can be able to achieve her dreams.
all cheap schools around that can be affordable are risky due to her case .her mother is still looking for her so going into a boarding school is more ideal because she will be in the hands and the security of the school so it will be hard for them to kidnap her

she does not mind mind about her age, size and back ground but she wants to go back to school .

she needs almost Every thing i believe that the raised Voice on world pulse will make a difference please join me
