Need: How does Global Climate Change Affect You as a Woman?

I read recently that a UN Food and Agricultural Organization study expected changes in temperature, storms and rainfall due to climate change could put an additional 49 million people in Asia at risk of starving by 2020. The examples provided were that crop yields could go down by 10 percent as populations continues to rise.

However, the study concluded that better use of water resources, utilizing adaptive farming techniques, protecting forests, coastal areas and disaster risk management could prevent hardships.

What I need from readers on this platform are concrete examples of how Climate Change affects the lives of women, and suggestions on what could be done to empower women to take a greater role in providing solutions.

Let me thank you, in advance, for your time and consideration.
