Need: SUCCESS STORIES OF MICROFUNDING
Do you have stories of people who launched successful businesses through microcredit? Know an entrepreneur who started a sustainable business in his/her community with very little capital?
Hope Youth Foundation is launching its first Microfunded Entrepreneur Competition. Our goal is to get young people to think creatively about businesses which they can start with small capital, and which will have a sustainable impact on their communities.
The winner of the competition will receive a small financial investment to launch the business and receive mentoring for the start-up process.
We would like to put together a selection of stories about young people (prefereably) who "made much out of nothing." These don't have to be millionaires. Just people who were empowered through microfunding and have been intentional about reinvesting in their communities. These stories will hopefully motivate our participants to "dream the impossible."
If you know of such people and have their permission, kindly share their stories with us. Thank you!
