This course is a provessional level course developed by International Center on Nonviolent Conflict and offered under the auspices of United States Institute of Peace.
This course will cover in detail the surge in people powered movements in people powered movements in places such as Iran, Niger Delta, Honduras and the West Bank. Individual sessions will be taught by leading experts in the field and will include
* "Power and Oppression: Strategies and Tactics of Civil Resistance",
* "Digital conflict and Civil Resistance"
* "Civil Resistance and Violent Extremism"
and many more.
Online sessions and in class sessions will be video recorded and posted on the website.allowing activists and professionals to take part in the dialogue. Fortunately, this also means that anyone with a busy schedule won't have to worry about missing an online session - everything will be easily accessible after the workshops.
