Need: Resources needed to implement a dynamic project

Women'sNet (http://womensnet.org.za) is looking for funding and resources to implement a 12 months project whose goal is to engage South African girls between the ages of 14 and 18 years in capacity building to empower them with skills and knowledge to become information activists for their rights, on their terms, for their benefits. The project includes running a Tech-Camp for girls from four provinces in South Africa. It seeks to uphold Communication Rights and the Right to access information.

Our budget is USD46,472.70 and we have so far raised approxialtely USD5,000.

We are therefore looking for your assistance to help us to successfully implement this project. You can:

1. Donate funds to cover some of the project costs;
2. Link us to donors/individuals who may be interested in funding this project;
3. Donate resources such as flash diskettes, computers, stationery, digital cameras, headphones, CDs, CD covers, Ink catridges, etc

Please, send your feedback to fundraising@womensnet.org.za
