Offer: Make a Powerful Difference Contest (for US residents)

Upload an essay telling us how you're making a powerful difference in your community.

1 grand prize winner will receive $10,000 to make a powerful difference for their community and be featured in EBONY magazine.

9 top finalists will receive $1,000 to help support their community initiatives.

Submission Guidelines:

The Submission must be in text format;

The Submission must not exceed 5 MB in size;

The Submission must be two hundred (200) words or fewer in length;

The Submission must be in English; and

The Submission cannot have been submitted previously in a promotion of any kind or exhibited or displayed publicly through any means.

Eligibility: The contest is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States (including D.C.) who are at least eighteen (18) years old at the time of entry.

Timing: Submission begins on January 11, 2010 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time ("ET"), ends on March 22, 2010 at 11:59 p.m. ET.
