Our goal is to empower a generation of young women with community organizing and media skills necessary to act as leaders within their communities. We are the only membership-driven media organization founded by Arab women in the United States.

Hi Heena,

I don't know the people at AWAAM personally, but I'm sure you could reach them through their site, http://www.awaam.org/. I posted this about a year ago, so Hanan's email may have changed, but I'm sure they'd still be interested in hearing from you.

Hope that helps, and let me know if you reach them.
