Need: Dalit Journalist is seeking your help for cancer treatment

While doing my Research about Dalit for my feature article, I have found the struggle of dalit journalist who is suffering from cancer and seeking help with others. If you can please help her any amount you can, she really needed it for her treatment. According to Nepal News.com, “A journalist of Radio Mandabi 97 MHz in Pyuthan, who has been suffering from blood cancer, has sought support from well wishers for treatment.

Bindu Pariyar, 25, has been in bed for the last four months without any treatment. This Dalit family failed to admit her for treatment to any hospitals due to poverty. Before she was bed ridden, Pariyar had been taking medicine from Chitwan Cancer Hospital.

A blood cancer patient, Pariyar had been with Radio Mandabi for last two years.

Phythan chapter of the Federation of Nepalese Journalists (FNJ) has called on parties, media persons, organisations, individuals and the government to extend support for her treatment.”
