Human Development Economist/Social Sec Spec – Washington DC Position
The Independent Evaluation Group (IEG) is seeking to hire a Human Development Economist/Social Sector Specialist to undertake evaluations of World Bank projects and programs in health, nutrition, population, education and social protection and work on related sector and thematic evaluations such as nutrition and food security, social safety nets, and post-primary education. The IEG is the main organization unit in the World Bank Group providing evaluation and feedback on the development effectiveness of Bank activities in client countries. The desired candidate should have analytic skills that can be applied equally to the health, nutrition, population, education and social protection sectors. The Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) is seeking a Senior Water $ Sanitation Specialist to be based in Honduras. The WSP is administered by the World Bank and funded through international partnerships with a wide range of External Support Agencies assists national, Regional and local agencies to be responsible for water and sanitation in developing countries to help the poor gain sustained service access.
