: Gulu, Uganda

I am leaving for Uganda in 9 days. I will be in Gulu,the north, for most of my time. I spent time there last year and had a delightful time. I thought I'd ask if others have traveled in the same area and have favorite sights to see or people to invite to have a cup of coffee and visit.
So, if you know anyone or place in Gulu, please let me know. I'll be in Kampala for a couple of days before departing, info about Kampala is welcomed too.
I will be taking my 6 1/2 year old son and 10 others on the trip. I'll have down time most evenings to fill with rich and loving experiences. See my journal post for more info.
