Be the Change: Dine for Mercy Corps

Event Date:
April 7, 2009 (All day)

Young's Columbia and supporting sponsors invite you to Be the Change on April 7th. Restaurants, bars and coffee shops throughout Oregon and Washington are teaming up for Be the Change. Order a latte, a meal or a pint at any participating establishment, and 25 percent of your bill will go to Mercy Corps' programs around the world and to support local entrepreneurs here in the Northwest.

Last year, a similar effort called Dine for Darfur raised over $64,000 for Mercy Corps' work, and brought thousands of people out of their homes to show support.

Join the effort, and help us show the world what our community can do to help those in need and support our local restaurants at the same time!
