Location: St. Teresa’s Secondary School Sinyereri, Trans nzoia East

Dear Madam / Sir

It is an honor to invite you to be our guest during the first ever TYSA Girls Affirmative Action Dialogue Forum. The Forum will be held at the St. Teresa’s Secondary school multipurpose Hall on February 23rd 2013 from 8:00am to 3:00pm.

The Forum intends to capture the current status of girls /women in Trans Nzoia County in reference to the Affirmative Action, Vision 2030 and the Kenyan constitution so that appropriate remedial strategies can be developed by stakeholders

TYSA would be delighted to welcome you to take part in this forum full of Presentation and discussions about the Status of girls and women in Trans Nzoia County. These will include statistics, Challenges and Opportunities, and also the Status of Gender Based Violence in Trans Nzoia County. The forum will have three sections;
1. Presentations on the status of girls / women , and status of Gender Based Violence in Trans nzoia county by a facilitator
2. Plenary discussion lead by key panelists from different government ministries, private sector and civil society in relations to the presentations made in above
3. Inspiration session from invited women. They will share their personal stories towards their current status
We would be delighted if you graced this event with your presence as a panelist to discuss issues that would be raised by the girls and facilitators as indicated above.
