WOMEN PRAY FOR PEACE IN NIGERIA AND AFRICA

Event Date:
February 16, 2013 - 10:00 - February 17, 2013 - 05:00

PREAMBLE
The prayer conference accords us such an opportunity to take a stand for the destiny of our nation. Your prayer, support and participation are welcome. This International Conference is open to women and people of all race, denominations and ministry affiliations. Being the weaker vessel is strategic indeed. There is a place for the low and accommodating disposition in the heart of the woman. It is an essential resource for the building of the family name. A family built without the ingredient of love is bereft of peace. The concept of coexistence involves a huge dose of recognition of individualism and a token of accommodation. Kairos moment for us. Kairos (καιρός) is an ancient Greek word meaning the right or opportune moment (the supreme moment). It does not take the intelligence of a rocket scientist to know that our world today is one of confusion. Financial problems abound. Marriages are falling apart. The toll of sickness and disease is immense. Security of lives and properties seem to be a thing of the past. Emotional stress and torment are the order of the day. Is there hope? Is there light at the end of the tunnel? The answer is YES! Mordecai had to remind Esther, that she was the Queen ‘for such a time as this’ so she could intercede for the Jews. During the conference, we hope to remind you that you are a woman for a time like this..so that you can intercede for your family and our nations!
The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous woman avails much (James 5:16b).
