UN Day: The United Nations and the Future of Communication

Could the UN leverage these tools to better tell their story and invite wider and deeper global participation?

Join the United Nations Assocation of Oregon for a talk with Stephane Dujarric, the UN’s Director of News and Media who will look at new horizons for communication and community-building.

Dujarric discusses how participatory media, advocacy journalism, hybrid/multimedia journalism, and even celebrity endorsement around human rights and development issues might transform its reach and impact.
