Kenya Children Peace festival 2012

Event Date:
December 8, 2012 (All day) - December 13, 2012 (All day)

Dear friend in Football for Development sector,
Warm greetings from TYSA!
We are excited to invite you to participate in our second edition of the children Peace festival 2012. Last year, we had a successful festival that was hosted at the TYSA sports ground.
We are taking this earliest opportunity to share the festival information so as to enable you make informed decision regarding your participation. Here in, you will find the project document that outline the purpose and objectives of the festival, Team information which gives an insight of what is expected and also the tournament format which outlines how the tournament will be played.
In this years’ festival, we have enriched it with the feedback from last year. We have included 2 days of workshops which focus on conflict management and football skills. The football tournament is a 7 aside so as to give players more matches. We hope that by sending only 11 members of the team, it makes it easy to finance.
In order to make the planning process effective, we have given you two way registration processes. One is confirming your interest to participate by 10th October and Final submission of the application by 20th October 2012. This is in anticipation that we have fewer slots ( 4) for teams outside our county.
We believe you will find this festival a unique and offer your children an opportunity to explore and learn from their peers across the country and East Africa
Once again, we are happy to host you in Kitale 2012!
Looking forward to seeing your team in Kitale

Yours Faithfully
Gichuki Francis
