The Opposite of War is Creativity: Women Resisting Militarism and Creating a Culture of Life

For five days in the heart of the Bay Area, internationally recognized women activists are gathering to share experiences, strategies and projects to transform local communities and cultures affected by US militarism. Local groups will talk about organizing across borders to transform US policy and create cultures of justice and peace.

For the grand finale September 15, join women from from GUAM, HAWAII, JAPAN, OKINAWA, PHILIPPINES, PUERTO RICO, SOUTH KOREA, and the U.S. for a night of dance, hip-hop, music, poetry, theatre and visual art.

Free and open to the public! Donations gladly accepted. Sponsored by Women for Genuine Security and The Pana Institute.
