This global initiative is an invitation to all people to dedicate the day to Listening to those who often go unheard, Listening to the sounds of our planet, Listening to our animal kingdom, Listening to each other . . . really Listening!

Sarah,

You are a breath of fresh air. Not to mention my daughter's name is SARA (Without the H) so I have a special affinity.
I will be listening and think what you are doing to sensitize the world to listen more is commendable and much needed.

I always have joked that God gave us two ears and one mouth for a reason ! Haha.

Also, when I started my non-profit "I AM ONE IN A MILLION" in 2007, I had little money which was a gift. It enabled me to go for 4 years,several times a year, to Livingstone Zambia and get entrenched and just take in traditions, customs and to answer over 4 years why nothing seems to be working long term in Zambia. The listening, observing and taking time to have them trust me speaks volumes as to why I am having long term success now.

In either case, keep up the good cause and work and I will remind others to listen on that day and always.

Just want you to know I am practicing for Listening Day. In fact, I have to keep this short because I have to go listen to people! Haha.
