CREA Training on Gender, Sexuality, SRH in Hindi
CREA is organising a 3-day Basic Training on Gender, Sexuality, and Sexual and Reproductive Health in Hindi. The training programme focuses on creating opportunities for women to build preliminary understanding on issues of gender, sexuality, and sexual and reproductive health and rights. Founded in 2000, CREA is a feminist human rights organisation based in New Delhi, India. It is one of the few international women's rights organisations based in the global South, led by Southern feminists, which works at the grassroots, national, regional, and international levels. Together with partners from a diverse range of human rights movements and networks, CREA works to advance the rights of women and girls, and the sexual and reproductive freedoms of all people. CREA advocates for positive social change through national and international fora, and provides training and learning opportunities to global activists and leaders through its Institutes.
Gender, Sexuality, Links between Gender and Sexuality, Sexual and Reproductive Health, Sexual Rights, Sex Work, Sexual Orientation and Gender Identities, and Sexuality and Development.
Women working with NGOs in Bihar and Jharkhand on issues of gender, development, and women's and girls' rights, with minimum work experience of one year, are eligible. Participants must have a working knowledge of Hindi, as all the discussions and materials will be in Hindi. Only women working with NGOs in Bihar and Jharkhand can apply for this training. Applications are due on or before 10 June 2012. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
