Women of Peace: International Women's Day Celebration London
Join International Alert to celebrate International Women’s Day on March 8th at The Pheasantry Jazz Club, located at the heart of fashionable Kings Road.
This fundraising evening will bring together a mixture of fantastic female singers –all to celebrate women’s critical role in building peace around the world.
We have the incredible Jodie Marie performing. The Welsh singer/songwriter is described as a ‘soulful, bluesy folk/pop blend’. She’s just finished a tour with Will Young and is surrounded by a lot of industry buzz. So take this opportunity to catch her in an intimate gig while you still can. We also have the talented Tina May (recently described by The Observer as “a great rarity, a singer who enhances a song...”), Jazz Award Winner Anita Wardell, the fabulous Eve Ferret and comedian Bridget Christie who will add comedic flair to the night.
These lovely women are lending their voices and talent to highlight women’s strength in showing compassion and forgiveness in some of the world’s worst violent conflicts.
You don’t want to miss this unforgettable night.
Tickets are £25 and you can book them online
