An invitation to attend the launch of the Commonwealth Young Farmers Club in Ghana
21st November 2011, 10.30 – 16.30 at the Kponpko Eco Village Centre, Ga East Municipal Assembly, Greater Accra, Ghana as part of the African Industralization Day celebration.
An opportunity to discover the benefits of a new and unique network for youth leaders who are seeking support, challenge and inspiration within the Agribusiness Sector
CYFC is a new network for young people working at all levels within the Agribusiness Sector, volunteers, employees and trustees. We exist to provide support, challenge and inspiration in order to increase the number of youth leaders in the Agribusiness Sector and enable youths, especially young women to progress into career of choice. Our vision is simple, we work together to create a culture of high aspirations in which young people’s success within the Agribusiness sector is visible and celebrated. We will work with leaders of cause driven organizations, policy makers and membership bodies to achieve equality in income, career opportunities for all and to make work life balance within the Agribusiness Sector a reality and not a dream.
CYFC will profile and foster young talent across the Agribusiness sector by creating access to peer support, role models, ambassadors and mentors. Youth will be supported to pool their talents and generate opportunities for collective resourcing and problem solving thereby reducing the isolation and pressure often experiences within the Agribusiness Sector leadership roles. To find out more and to meet some people already involved please come to the Kponpko Eco Village Open Day to celebrate the launch of the Commonwealth Young Farmers Club.
