World AIDS Day

Event Date:
November 30, 2008 - 23:00 - December 1, 2008 - 22:59

"World AIDS Day is a day when people from around the world come together within a single effort to raise awareness about HIV and to express global solidarity with people living with HIV. But World AIDS Day is not just about raising awareness. It also provides a global opportunity to urge governments and leaders for all promises on AIDS to be kept as well as an opportunity to demonstrate commitment and action on AIDS." -

Hi Jenna,

Thanks for your comments about my micro-finance project in the Congo, helping HIV positive women. Do you have any interest in comparing notes, thoughts or networking, so we might help other women in Africa?

Greetings! It is so soul-lifting to see collaborations sparked!

Just in case you are not already a member of this group, I want to steer your conversation to the Women's Networking Zone on PulseWire, which is an Athena Virtual forum focused on building a broader global HIV/AIDS movement and cross-sector alliances that has emerged (I believe) from the bi-annual AIDS Conferences. (

Moving your conversation there will allow the 100+ group members from all corners to compare notes, thoughts and networking alongside you so women everywhere can be helped.

What do you think? To keep it simple, maybe you could both just repost your conversation there.

In spirited partnership and absolute admiration of your commitment to our world,
