Where are the Asian CEOs? Executive Leadership in San Francisco
Why are there are no Asian American CEOs in San Francisco companies in the Chron200 list of the Bay Area’s largest public corporations? Asian Americans comprise about a third of the city’s population and are widely recognized as influential innovators and key contributors in successful companies throughout the region. But few are selected for the highest leadership roles.
Join a panel of San Francisco and Bay Area executives to revisit the success of Asian Americans in the corporate world and openly discuss the lack of success to reach the highest levels in the boardroom and C-suite. What executive skills are required in large, complex business organizations? What are companies doing to develop and retain their best employees, especially their high-potential Asian leaders?
