Health Systems Strengthening Training in Ghana
Course Objectives:
1. To enhance the knowledge and capacities of participants on the building blocks of health systems strengthening, particularly as it relates to the African continent and other developing countries;
2. To provide detailed and up-to-date information on health care financing strategies, as a critical building block of health systems strengthening; and
3. To strengthen the network of health organizations within the continent towards improving health service delivery within a functional system.
The learning objectives of the course is that at the end of the course, the participants will
a. Speak a “right language” about health systems strengthening resulting from acquiring a deeper understanding
b. Situate their national health systems within a taxonomy of health systems accordingly to structural, performance and financial characteristics, while assessing how well their national health systems are performing; and creating the realization of alternate paths to improve the functionality of health systems
c. Understand the available resources and tools, as well as, how to select same to inform the designed changes and assess their impact.
The course will be targeted at Anglophone countries in Africa as the course materials will be in English language only and the course will be taught in English

Hey Elina, Its open to non-African citizen only that you may have to be spending more on flight, accommodation and feeding during your stay in Ghana as there is no sponsorship.
@ Vivian: Except you apply for sponsorship from donor agencies which may take some time. I am afraid that is not possible...
