World AIDS Day Youth Conference

Event Date:
December 4, 2009 - 11:00 - 16:00

The Children and Young People's Network is pleased to announce it is hosting a youth conference for young people living with HIV to mark World AIDS Day 2009.

It will be held on the 4th of December and hopefully around 100 young people aged between 13-18 from all over the UK attend the day in London. We will have a panel discussion in the morning and interactive peer-led workshops in the afternoon; workshops will be covering topics such as relationships, disclosure and the future. This will also be a great opportunity for young people to meet others living with HIV from all over the UK, we also hope to have a small social event directly following the conference!

We can cover travel expenses for young people traveling from outside of London and they will need to travel with a key worker. (If a key worker can't be arranged please give me a call and we will see if we can sort out an alternative.)

For further information please contact Maria at mphelan@ncb.org.uk or hiv@ncb.org.uk or 0207 843 1911

Location:
London
United Kingdom

Wish I could attend

Hi Drita,

No, I will not be present, but thought that in spirit of International Aids Day that is quickly approaching, I should announce this opportunity for all those living in England to spread the word.

Cheers,
Jade
