Please join us at the city’s newest all-green development, Riverhouse on River Terrace Road in Battery Park City. Come chat, laugh, and have a glass of wine with other friends of the Face-to-Face AIDS Project.
On display will be the 12’X12’ Malawi Face-to-Face PhotoMosaics, which tell the stories of some of the amazing individuals we have met and worked with.
While donations are always welcome, this event is not meant as a fundraiser but as a chance to get together and celebrate. Please come and enjoy.
Ken Wong, director of Face-to-Face AIDS Project, will also give a short talk about Memory Chisute, a young Malawian girl with a big dream—to go to school and become an ambassador. Several obstacles stand in her
way, among them the death of both parents, which left her homeless and alone. We’ll hear how Memory has faced these challenges and find out where she is today
