What enabled you to find your own voice and become an empowered leader in your own life/community?

Originally started as a mother-daughter project born out of our own respective challenges, I am currently working on a collaborative writing project focused on empowering women and girls around the world through stories of heart-aligned leadership. The project is based on the belief that every female, regardless of age, culture, religious or socio-economic status, should be entitled to the basic human right to live her voice out loud and become a leader in her own life.

Looking through the lens of 16 core principles of heart-aligned leadership (e.g. authenticity, integrity, collaboration, etc.), this project invites women from around the world to share their own stories of empowerment, including advice they would offer the next generation of young women.

The goal of this project is to create a global collection of stories that not only inspire and uplift, but encourage and empower others to find their own voice, too, passing on the legacy of leadership from one generation of women to the next.
