Pan African Women Miners Association (PAWOMA)

The Mining Industry is one of the biggest industry in Africa but very few women are involved in the various fields in the African Mining Industry. The Pan African Women Miners Association (PAWOMA) see to put African Women at the Forefront of the Mining and Extractive Industry. This would be achieve through the PAWOMA Partnership, Building the Capacity of Women in Mining in Africa

To kick start this process under the Tanzania Women Miners Association (TAWOMA) in collaboration with the University of Dar es Salaam (USDM) and other partners across Africa we shall be organising the Pan African Women in Mining Summit 2014 in Dar es Salaam Tanzania.
