Here's why it's important:
The people of Maldives are currently suffering from increased violence and lost of freedom. A young journalist is now in coma and fighting for his life after brutal beatings. My parents and parents of many others are fearful for their sons and daughters. This has to be stopped. Please help to create awareness and to take action to bring justice.
Maldives is a tiny nation also prone to natural disasters. After 8 years since 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami some people are still suffering form the impact of that Tsunami. On top of it the political unrest is adding to the hardship for those people. Please sign and share.

The current political situation in Maldives is not looking great. Many arrested since yesterday after the arrest of Ex President Nasheed.
