Save a life … right now
Just share on Facebook, Twitter, Google+ or any other social media.

Jalila Khamis Koko (also called Jalila Khamis, Jalila Khamis Kuku and Jalila Kuku) is a human rights activists from South Kurdufan (Nuba Mountains), mother of five children, school teacher and wife. Jalila is facing death penalty and will be executed very soon unless we do something.

Her crime is speaking out against the Sudanese government which is actively persecuting the Nuba people of the Southern areas of Sudan. Jalila has not been involved in violence; she has merely helped displaced people find shelter and has aired her views on a YouTube video where she called for a ceasefire. Does this deserve death?

Please, do something amazing and make people aware of Jalila by sharing. You could save her life. Time is fast running out.

More concrete action needed

Dear Halima:

I visited the link you provided and sadly it only says, 'twit'. Though I have twitted, I feel that there should be more of an concrete action such as signing a petition or a letter to the government. Merely twitting isn't enough!

But thank you for sharing this with us. Love!

Can we sign a petition

Dear Halima as Stella has suggested we need to come up with a petition which we can use as an advocacy tool against the Government of Sudan. Please provide more details on this issue.
