600 Million Adolescent Girls

More than 600 million adolescent girls live in the developing world- like Kenya. Many of them lack the opportunities and skills necessary to reach their full potential and majority end up losing their dreams.TYSA initiated Girls We Can Program to address this issues. TYSA uses sports training and life skills education to empower adolescent girls. In partnership with learning institutions, local community, families and parents in Trans-nzoia County, the program teaches girls the critical facts about health, communication, rights and managing their personal life in order to help them transform not just their own lives, but those of their families, friends and future generations.
