Call for Submissions: "I Am A Peace Activist Too!"

This year the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize is awarded jointly to Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, Leymah Gbowee and Tawakkul Karman "for their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women’s rights to full participation in peace-building work"...Kvinna till Kvinna's plan is to do a campaign on Internet where to take advantage of the spotlight on Sweden/Nobel Peace Prize this December...Deadline for submissions: December 5, 2011.
"We want to show the world that women peace activist come in multitude and are everywhere and we this do by showing off our cool, hardworking, smart, tough, loving, strong and peaceful peace activists! That means YOU!
All you need to do is to take an image of yourself holding up a paper with the text “I´m a peace activist too” and send it to mepeaceactivist2@gmail.com before 5 December!
You can write the sentence in your own language and add some personal touch, name or drawing if you would like too. We would also love if you could have a white background in your image but if it is not possible, don´t worry - the most important is that we get an image of you. Let´s make this happen! 2gether!"
