Take a Photo-Pledge to End Violence against Women
Raise awareness about gender-based violence by participating in Stirring the Fire’s online “Together We Stand to End Violence against Women” campaign.
It’s easy! To show your support, simply take a photo of yourself holding up a sign that either says “I Stand” or “I Stand to End Violence against Women,” in PURPLE. It can be hand written or as fancy as you like! Be creative with your photo and have fun!
Take a simple snap shot of yourself and your sign with a web cam, your camera or iPhone. Once your photo is taken, we invite you to post it on our facebook (www.facebook.com/StirringTheFire) page. Please be sure to caption the photo with “I Stand to End Violence against Women” and the location where your photo-pledge was taken.
“Together We Stand to End Violence against Women” is part of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Violence. Continue to spread the word by setting your photo-pledge as your facebook profile picture during the 16 Days from November 25th – December 10th!
At the end of the 16 days we will create a digital collage of all the pledges posted on our wall. We hope to see you standing with us to End Violence against Women!
