End Polio now

The Global Poverty project has just internationally launched The End of Polio, a campaign that calls for world leaders to commit to polio eradication. I think this is a really important campaign as it would see the back of a disease that has robbed many people of their dignity.

Our generations stand on the brink of eradicating the second human disease in history - it would be great if people could show their support by signing a petition that calls for world leaders to commit to polio eradication.

For each petition signature a child will be vaccinated through the Global Polio Eradication Initiative.

Watch the Piper Paquen animation on the link that illustrates the monumental unfinished story that is The End of Polio and sign up.

If you have any extra time to spare you could also do the following to spread the news....

1/ Facebook. Paste the following link into the status box on your Facebook page - - this will cause it to display the video in a thumbnail below your text. Now delete the text in the status box and replace it with a message like one of the below. This way people will be able to view the video on Facebook, but also have a link to the homepage where they can sign the petition.

•Help Piper Paquen finish this monumental unfinished story. Sign the petition for @The End of Polio at

2/ Twitter. Post about the video using one of the below tweets:
• With a signature one of the greatest achievements of mankind will finish bringing in the #endofpolio -

Thank you and love and light to you all
